Sienna stood in the ocean, the crystal clear water only up to her ankles. She took in the crisp air around her, the scent of saltwater filling her nose. She could stand here forever. She wouldn’t have to worry about anything, just listen to the sound of the waves washing ashore. She was supposed to be meeting Cayden here soon. She didn’t know if he was late, or if she was simply early—nor did she care. She closed her eyes, wishing she never had to leave this position. She sensed someone approaching her from behind. She turned around in the sand, and nearly jumped. “Oh hey! You scared me!” She exhaled.
Halston listened to Sienna with the same expression plastered on her face. Sienna and Halston had been in somewhat of the same situation. Halston watched as a tear rolled down her friend’s face then felt her own eyes begin to tear. She pulled Sienna into a hug and let a tear fall from her own eye. “Of course I won’t,” She pulled away from the hug after a moment and then looked down at her hands. “I think I should tell you something too..” The girl said, and took a deep breath. She’d thought she’d never see the day that she’d actually tell someone about herself. Her little secret. But she felt that Sienna should know. “I’m kind of going through the same thing you are.. But it’s different.”
Sienna looked up at Halston, wiping her eye with her sleeve. Her mascara had left a stain on the white cotton. She could care less. A worried expression crossed her face as she listened to Halston speak. She realized, she wasn’t alone. Some people had the same insecurities she did. One of those people being her best friend. How could she not have known? The tears didn’t stop falling. She leaned forward a bit, eager to hear what the redhead was about to say. But not necessarily a good kind of eager. “I’m all ears.” Sienna spoke, her words airy. Her throat was burning as if she’d just inhaled fire.

Yeah sure, I was thinking about going down there anyways. Sounds good to me.
Great, meet you there!

Well that’s too bad. There wasn’t much to do today, was there? But then again, I haven’t gotten to go out and see much yet.
No, there really wasn’t. Sort of depressing.
But hey, we could change that! Let’s go explore. Wanna go down to the beach or something? I know it’s pretty dark out, but we don’t have to swim. We could just explore a little. If you’re up for it.
